Bell Student App Privacy Policy

Bell Healthcare Training School operates Bell Student and the Bell student portal it opens. This policy explains the information handled when you view your school records, complete forms, upload documents, review tuition information, or ask for support. The native app is being prepared for release; publishing this policy does not mean the app is already available in the App Store.
Information we handle
- Student and contact details: your name, school identifiers, contact information, program, class, enrollment and attendance information.
- Documents and forms: uploaded images and files, signatures, enrollment acknowledgments, identity documents, clinical clearance records such as physical examinations and TB records, and certification or licensing information submitted through required school forms. Some required forms include birth dates, government identifiers, and sensitive declarations.
- School account information: charges, deposits, funding arrangements, payment history, refunds, balances and available receipts. Payment card entry is handled by the applicable payment service.
- Support and referrals: requests, replies and information you choose to provide for school support or referral assistance.
- Website and technical information: page visits, referring websites, device category, session identifiers and estimated location where available, together with information used by hosting and connected services to operate and secure their systems.
How information is used
Bell uses this information to administer enrollment and classes; review documents and required signatures; coordinate clinical clearance and certification requirements; maintain school account records; provide receipts and support; and meet school reporting and recordkeeping responsibilities. Published announcements are shown according to the applicable class. Job and referral requests are reviewed through Bell’s school workflow.
Connected services and disclosures
Information is handled by Bell and the service providers supporting the function you use. These include the Sites/Cloudflare hosting and storage used for this portal, Wix and Stripe for connected payment workflows, Canvas for learning services, and Floot for Bell’s website visit dashboard. Legacy records may originate from Bell’s Jotform, Adobe Sign or Google Drive workflows. The app does not automatically copy every record to each provider.
Bell may disclose records to authorized school personnel, service providers, clinical or funding partners when needed for the relevant school workflow, and government or other recipients when required for reporting or legal obligations. Contact Bell if you need information about a particular disclosure. Separate services have their own privacy practices, including Wix, Stripe, Instructure/Canvas, and Cloudflare.
App storage and private links
The native client uses an ephemeral network session, disables its URL cache, and keeps the private link and loaded student state in memory. Native sign-out clears that state and cancels requests. A privacy cover hides the native screen when the app becomes inactive. Your private link grants access to school records: keep it private and contact Bell if it is exposed.
Signing, uploads, payment details and support actions open Bell’s protected web portal in a separate browser view. That portal has its own session and may remember access for up to seven days. Signing out of the native app does not sign you out of the browser session; use the portal’s own Sign out control, especially on a shared device.
Website visit analytics
The native client has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. Website pages and connected services have separate behavior. Bell’s on-site visitor tracker skips protected student upload and records routes. A separate website page-view integration sends a masked private route, referrer and device category to Bell’s Floot visit dashboard; the private token is replaced with “[private]” in those paths. Public page analytics can also use a session identifier and estimated location. Do not place sensitive student information in public page URLs or general support messages.
Records, retention and your choices
School records are stored separately from the app and retained for school administration, reporting, applicable recordkeeping obligations and resolving account questions. Deleting the app or signing out does not delete those records. Contact Bell to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about retention of a particular record. Bell may need to verify the request and retain information required for its obligations; no automatic deletion deadline is promised.
Use the protected document workflow for sensitive records. Do not send Social Security numbers, medical documents, passwords, private links or card details in general support messages. The sample-student mode uses fictional information and does not submit forms, payments or support requests.
